What We Believe

is to be a lighthouse to the community of Hagerstown and the surrounding areas. We live in a sin darkened world where there is a desperate need for the light of truth. Here at Valley Assembly of God we make every effort to lift up the only answer to life and point people to the only true way, of course we are talking about Jesus! From the opening of prayer, to the praise and worship, and ultimately to the preaching of the Word it is an effort to point people to Christ. Touching lives not just for time but for eternity is our supreme goal. In the book of Numbers Moses said to his visiting family "come with us and we will do you good." If you as an individual or as a family come with us it is our intent to do you good.

is to really make a difference in our community. When a man or women truly comes to the Lord they are completely changed and transformed by the power of God. They become a blessing, and asset, a help, and a strength to all those about them. They join with fellow believers like ourselves and help us really make a difference in our homes, our place of work, our schools, everywhere we go. Nothing would please us more than if you would lock arms and hearts with us to see this goal accomplished.

is that we would be used of God to make a difference. As we yield to the Lord and He lives through us we will truly show this community Jesus Christ.
